About

We are ‘Station 21′, a “composite” department serving the, approximately, 5000 residents of Peachland, British Columbia, Canada.  Peachland is located in the Okanagan Valley, south of West Kelowna and north of Summerland.  A map of the area can be viewed on Google Maps.

We respond to incidents in the Municipality including fires (of any type), MVA’s, Rescues, Public Assistance, First Responder (medical), Boat / Water Rescue as well as basic Hazmat calls.

We are dispatched via our regional 911 system and pagers that alert our members. Our regional channels can be followed online at ScanBC, under the Kelowna Fire Department.

Our department, formed in 1909, has since grown to a membership of 35+ volunteer firefighters.  We currently have 7 apparatus, 1 of those being a regional rescue boat.  Visit our apparatus page for more information on them.

Peachland Fire & Rescue is also involved throughout the year in Public Education, Inspections, and Pre-Incident Planning.
